JK Business School (JKBS), Gurugram recently completed its placement process for the 2021 PGDM batch. The highest package is Rs 24 lakh per year. Last year the highest package was Rs 12.40 lakh. While the average salary this year has increased from 3.83 lakhs last year to 5.05 lakhs. The jump was recorded in a pandemic year when many academics were wary of having “good” rankings.

A total of 82 companies participated in the final placement process, including EY, Berger Paints, Flipkart, Transport Corporation of India, Decathlon, Ameriprise Financial, Future Supply Chain, Unison International, BYJUs, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Pristyncare and Vedantu.

Up to 19 students were accepted into the top four companies, including 16 in EY. Although there was active participation from companies from all sectors during the season, consulting firms made up the largest share. Banking, logistics, FMCG, recruitment, retail, IT, healthcare are some other sectors in which students have been placed. E-commerce, edtech and large software companies also took an active part in the recruiting process.

The two-year PGDM course focuses on topics such as finance, marketing, human resources, business analytics, digital marketing and analytics, logistics and global business. In addition, the course includes soft and hard modules such as Placement Preparatory Program Communicative English, Outbound Team Building Program, Industry Interaction, Personality and Soft Skills Development, Corporate Etiquette, Entrepreneurship, Financial Planning for Young Investors, ERP / SAP modules, Six Sigma certification , Project management skills, digital marketing. The program also offers a summer internship of two months.
